Jme new album: Grime artist teases new release with free cinema screenings
Jme has announced a details of a long-awaited new album — and will be giving fans an exclusive first listen at a series of free cinema screenings.
The legendary grime artist hasn’t dropped a new studio album since Integrity in 2015, but looks set to premiere songs from the forthcoming release at a series of viewings across the country.
The screenings are going by the name of Grime MC — which may also be the title of the new album — and will be shown at Everyman cinemas in Muswell Hill, Barnet, Crystal Palace and Islington.
A promotional poster for Grime MC claims it has been “written and performed by Jme featuring Skepta and Merky Ace”, adding there will be “appearances” from fellow MCs Shorty, Jammer, Frisco and P Money. Whether or not they will all be at the screenings or just on the album remains to be seen.
