Although we Eve/Villanelle stans don't want to admit it, Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh are not a couple in real life (it's fine, we get it). But, in an interview in April of this year Comer confirmed that she was "very much" in love and in a "fairly new" relationship, prompting months of speculation around the couple and who Comer's new partner is.

Now, reports from The Daily Mail seem to suggest that her new boyfriend is 26-year old Massachusetts Lacrosse player James Burke, who the paper says has even met her family. Eagle-eyed fans also pointed out a picture of Jodie taken in June at a supermarket with her brother in which she is wearing a 'Boston Laxachusetts' hoodie.

In April of this year, in an interview with Vogue, Comer confirmed she was in a new relationship, but didn't specify who her partner was.

During the interview when asked about love, Comer said; "I’m very much in it... I think love’s the best. I’d been single for a while and just kind of going with the flow and doing my thing. That’s the thing, isn’t it? When you’re relaxed and letting the universe do what it’s doing, things kind of fall into place. Which is very much what happened. Which is great.”

In an interview last month the Killing Eve star got very frank about imposter syndrome, saying it's something she has struggled with because of being from Liverpool. Comer also spoke to OK! about her decision to step away from social media, deleting Twitter and rarely using Instagram, saying that she struggles not to "seek out" negative comments on social media.
