Joe Jonas Admits That He Found Fame ‘Uncomfortable’ Growing Up

Joe Jonas has admitted that he found it tough growing up in the public eye.

The singer, who was part of the Jonas Brothers for much of his early life, revealed that he struggled with fame from such a young age.

Talking about fame, he says: “I grew up around it, so it hasn’t always been an easy thing for me, but you learn to adjust and adapt to how you’re comfortable.”

“Ultimately, there are things that you’re going to be cool with and things that are going to be tough to get over.”

The Jonas Brothers were given their own Disney show and have admitted since that they felt pressures to be perfect role models.

“Being a part of a company like that comes with certain expectations. Not overtly, but there was a subtle vibe,” Joe has said in the past.

However, while Joe may have been famous for most of his life, but he admits he’s constantly reminding himself that it can all disappear very quickly.

He added to Fault magazine: “At the end of the day, if you remember where you come from and how it can all go away so easily, it makes it a little bit easier to handle.”

Joe is now part of new band DNCE whose single Cake By The Ocean was a summer smash, something that surprised the singer.

He said: “It all happened very quickly and we’re really thrilled with the reaction and how things have happened so far.”
