Joe Swash baffles fans on Celebrity Gogglebox as he shows off new appearance

Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox came back with a bang with its latest episode, as a host of celebs shared their thoughts on the week's television offerings. Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash returned to our screens from the comfort of Pickle Cottage, snuggling up on their plush cream sofa alongside their furry friends.

Yet, it wasn't long before viewers were sidetracked by Joe's 'very different' look as the ex-EastEnders actor caught the eye of many fans. The couple joined other celebrities in welcoming the nation into their abodes, tuning into programmes like Top of The Pops 1992, Nevermets, and A Quiet Place, the Mirror reports.

However, as audiences observed the famous faces indulging in their TV time, chatter quickly turned to 42 year old Joe's altered appearance. Settling down with his wife Stacey at Pickle Cottage, the pair engaged in light-hearted banter about marine life. Joe pondered, "What do you think jellyfish are?"

To which Stacey replied simply, "Jellyfish". Joe, however, disagreed, asserting: "Nope. Jellyfish are definitely aliens. Jellyfish are aliens."

As Stacey chuckled, bewildered, asking "What? " Joe elaborated: "They come in on, like, some space rock or something. Jellyfish are not... They're not from our planet."

Despite Stacey's insistence, "They are", Joe remained unconvinced.

Amidst their amusing exchange, viewers couldn't help but speculate about the change in Joe's visage, particularly noting his smile seemed altered.

Former EastEnders star Joe Swash's new smile has set the tongues wagging among Celebrity Gogglebox fans as they flooded X with curious questions.

One viewer queried, "What's going on with #joeswash gnashers. Got some new Turkey specials? #celebritygogglebox".

Another chimed in: "#celebritygogglebox Has Joe got new teeth? " while a third questioned: "What's happened to Joe Swash' teeth? ! He had lovely teeth #gogglebox."

This isn't the first time we're hearing about Joe's dental work as earlier this year, the Loose Women star revealed on Instagram: "He [Joe] went out and got his teeth done and came back and expected me to be normal about it."

An apparently miffed Stacey added: "He didn't even discuss it with his wife. Just went out and did it. Now, I'm not in control of Joe's body, he can do what he likes with his body, but how dare he do something without telling me."

Sitting beside her, Joe defended: "I think they look quite nice personally."

But Stacey had the last word: "I thought they looked amazing already."

On a different note, the couple shared a light-hearted moment during the same episode as they watched a cosy scene unravel on TV.

Joe reminisced: "We used to do all this. We used to have pillow talk, didn't we? " as Stacey hit back, "We used to sleep in bed together, remember that? "

Going along, Joe added: "No it's like..." before being hilariously cut off by giggling Stacey who joked: "It's why we had three kids in four years."

Not to be left hanging, Joe retorted: "So I'll go in Rex's bed with the baby then shall I? " Stacey kept up the laughs as she said: "That's what happens isn't it, babe? "
