John Cena is Zac Efron's fake friend in first trailer for new comedy
The first trailer has been revealed for John Cena and Zac Efron's new Prime Video comedy Ricky Stanicky.
The R-rated film will land on the streaming service on March 7, and will follow three friends who invent a fictional character to help them get out of tricky situations (via Deadline).
However, things become difficult when their significant others grow suspicious of the mysterious persona, forcing the trio to hire an actor to play their fake friend.

The fun trailer sees Efron's character hire washed-up actor and celebrity impersonator Rod (Cena) to bring his imaginary friend to life. As Rod begins to take his role too far, the friends start to regret their decision.
As well as The Greatest Showman and Peacemaker actors, the film also stars Judas and the Black Messiah's Jermaine Fowler, Big Sky's Anja Savcic and Beef's Andrew Santino.
Director Peter Farrelly, who also directed Green Book, shared his excitement when the film was first announced, saying: "I'm very grateful to Amazon, as well as Paul Currie, Thorsten Schumacher, and John Jacobs, for finally bringing Ricky Stanicky to life.

"This has been a dream project of mine for many years but to end up with a cast this crazy good makes the wait more than worthwhile."

Ricky Stanicky will be available to stream on Prime Video on March 7.
