Jonathan Gullis OUT as Labour win Stoke-on-Trent North
Labour have won back Stoke-on-Trent North. Tory Jonathan Gullis was defending a 5,986 majority secured at the 2019 general election following his defeat of Labour's Ruth Smeeth.
But the majority has now been wiped out.
Stoke City Council member David Williams is the new Labour MP after polling 14,979 votes. He pushed Mr Gullis - who polled 9,497 votes - into second place. Reform UK candidate Karl Beresford came a close third with 8,824 votes.
