The show, titled Jonathan Ross: Must-Watch Films, will launch its first episode on Valentine's Day with Ross's recommendations for a romantic night in.
In his series debut, chat show host Ross will feature date night classics Mannequin starring Kim Cattrall, Flashdance starring Jennifer Beals, and Mermaids starring Cher.
He will also include a look at the Fast and the Furious film franchise, Ryan Gosling film Drive, and hidden gems available on ITVX including French animation Belleville Rendez-vous and classic screwball comedy His Girl Friday, starring Cary Grant.
All of the films Ross will recommend are available to stream for free on recently launched platform ITVX.
Ross, who is currently appearing as a judge on ITV1's The Masked Singer, was previously BBC One's resident movie critic for the long-running review show Film.
He was its second longest serving presenter after Barry Norman, fronting the show from 1999 to 2010 when he left and his role was taken over by Claudia Winkleman.
Film was cancelled by the BBC in December 2018.
Ross's new ITVX movie review show is set to stream episodes monthly on the service, promoting content available to watch for free.
ITVX launched in December with well-received dramas including Litvinenko, starring David Tennant, and Without Sin, starring Vicky McClure.
A huge slate of new shows continue to be announced for the streaming service, which makes programmes available up to nine months before they air on its linear channels, including an adaptation of the Louise Doughty novel Platform 7.
Other shows coming to ITVX include Australian drama series The Twelve, a sitcom Alan Carr has written about his own childhood called Changing Ends, a documentary about the Bali terrorist attacks, and Russell T Davies' Crossroads drama Nolly starring Helena Bonham Carter.
Jonathan Ross: Must-Watch Films begins on 14 February on ITVX.
