Apr. 3—A Joplin man was killed in a fiery crash at 11:18 p.m. Monday at 32nd Street and Prigmore Avenue.
Police said Wednesday that Cody Shaver, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was driving a pickup truck east on 32nd Street when he struck a support pole for a traffic signal. The truck then caught fire.
The Joplin Police Department Major Crash Team is continuing to investigate the crash, police said.
