Jordan's King Abdullah Joins Crew Aboard Plane Dropping Aid to Gaza
King Abdullah of Jordan joined a crew dropping aid over Gaza on February 27, the country’s military said.
Jordan’s armed forces said five planes dropped food aid along the Gaza coast, while a sixth plane dropped medical supplies and fuel to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza.
Of the six planes in total, three were Jordanian, with one each supplied by Egypt, France, and the UAE.
The World Food Programme has described Gaza as “hanging by a thread” and called for it to be allowed deliver more aid to “reverse the path towards famine for thousands of desperately hungry people.” Credit: RHC via Storyful
