Josh Lucas and His 'Beautiful' Girlfriend Brianna Are Engaged: 'I Got Crazy Lucky'

Josh Lucas and his girlfriend Brianna Ruffalo are engaged!

The Yellowstone and Sweet Home Alabama, actor, 53, shared the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, June 29, posting several videos showing an emotional Ruffalo shortly after he had popped the question.

In the first clip, the ABC7 Los Angeles meteorologist sat at a table wiping tears from her eyes as a band played behind her. A glistening diamond ring was visible on her finger as she smiled through her tears.

Another video showed the band as they played an acoustic version of Elvis Presley’s song “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” before Lucas panned over to his fiancée, who held her hands against her face, giving fans a closer look at the sparkling engagement ring.

“For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” the actor wrote in the caption of the post, which also featured a sweet couple shot of the pair embracing in front of some purple flowers.

“I am so grateful and thrilled she said “Yes”. I WAY love you Brianna. & Thank You to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky,” Lucas concluded.

Ruffalo also celebrated the relationship milestone on her own Instagram, posting an edited video showing the same moments her fiancé had shared, including her tearful reaction, and a close-up of her showing off her ring. She also added a still shot that showed her hand with the engagement ring and a smiling Lucas sitting opposite her at a restaurant table.

"Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life.. and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we’ve never experienced- on every level. This was the easiest and best question I’ve ever answered. So, here’s to forever with my love, my best friend ❤️ I can’t wait to keep living this life with you 🙏🏼," she wrote alongside the clip.

Neither of the happy couple noted where the engagement took place, they have recently been vacationing together in Italy, where Ruffalo has been exploring her Italian heritage.

Earlier this week, the meteorologist posted a cute carousel of images from Positano, including shots of the couple, a pool, a beach and stunning Italian scenery.

"Back to the motherland 🥰 favorite place with my favorite guy," she wrote in the caption, adding, "So wonderful to return with a quick visit to Naples this time around as well, finally got to see where my grandfather is from ❤️ fell in love with Napoli and felt my papa with me 🇮🇹🕊️ #Positano #Naples #Italy #summer @joshlucas."

While Ruffalo has picked Lucas to say "I do" to, earlier this year she revealed that she wouldn't choose his Sweet Home Alabama character!

Speaking to E! News at the premiere of Lucas' movie Palm Royale in March, Ruffalo explained that the couple don't often watch his 2002 romantic comedy, which costarred Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Dempsey.

The reason? "I'm team Patrick Dempsey," she told the outlet.

However, despite her cinematic preferences, she regularly shares her love for Lucas with the world.

Celebrating his birthday on June 20, she posted a series of shots of Lucas and the couple together, wishing him a happy birthday and describing him, in part, as, "my honey, my guy, my best friend. A man steadfast in his love, priorities and dedication. Always a ray of sunshine."
