This Morning's Josie Gibson is reportedly eager to find love after witnessing her co-host Alison Hammond with her new beau. Josie, who balances being a single mum to her five year old son Reggie while also facing the cameras for ITV's This Morning and being the new face of Iceland supermarkets, feels that something crucial is missing from her life. Reportedly, seeing Alison Hammond loved up has spurred Josie on her quest for a romantic partner.

An insider said: "Josie desperately wants to find love too, it's all she's ever wanted. She's got her dream job on This Morning but her real hope is to settle down. She's so happy for Alison and is hoping that this guy is the right one. Seeing Alison happy does make Josie want the same for herself."

It is well known that Josie, who first graced our screens in Big Brother back in 2010, has had her share of heartaches. At present, Josie, from Bristol, is thought to be single after ending things with Terry, her ex and father to her son Reggie-James.

The duo sparked their romance in 2017 and welcomed their child in 2018, reports OK! Magazine.

The celebrity, whose past love interests also include her former Big Brother housemate John James Parton, who she dated for almost a year post-show, is said to have finally realised what she's been missing, owing to Alison Hammonds palpable chemistry with 49-year-old toyboy and Russian masseur David Putman, according to an insider.

"Josie would love to double date with Alison and have them both find their happily ever after. They've both had such similar experiences so she's hoping that this it it for Alison and hopefully it will be or her too," a source revealed.

Alison's new beau was unveiled as David Putman, following reports that the former Big Brother star has formed a close relationship with a towering 6ft 10in Russian masseur.

David, who is thought to be around two decades younger than Alison, is an aspiring model and dancer. The TV personality has been spotted leaving affectionate comments on David's posts, including a heart-eyed emoji on one of his recent uploads. David, who is proud of his Russian heritage, is believed to be in his early to mid-20s and resides in Brighton.

Just a few weeks ago, there was speculation about Josie's romantic life when she was spotted hand in hand with TV presenter Stephen Mulhern outside the BBC Studios. However, in an exclusive interview with OK! the I'm A Celebrity contestant confirmed they're "just friends" and there's no "romance in the air".

Josie, 39, also opened up about her cautious approach to relationships. She said: "People must think I'm a right goer. I'm not like that. To be with somebody or to even kiss somebody, I've really got to love them.

"I've really got to really be into them. I can't give my energy over when I'm not completely into it. You know when you get that magic connection? For me it only comes around like once every seven years or eight years."

Amidst the circulating rumours that Alison is at her happiest and has found a "a trusted companion" in her partner David, Josie is reportedly advising her TV colleague to take things at a leisurely pace, as per an insider.

"Alison is really happy with her new man, she kept it from everyone at the beginning though. She told everyone he was just a friend because she didn't want the publicity or to spook him off, especially as he isn't in the showbiz world."

Alison is renowned for being private about her personal life and has even publicly expressed her contentment with solitude.

During an episode of Gyles Brandreth's podcast Rosebud aired last year, she admitted: "I absolutely love my own company. I have no problem being on my own, in fact, I really quite like it. I think that's the reason why I struggle in some relationships because I don't want somebody around me all the time. I actually love being on my own. I'm okay with it. I've never felt lonely."

However, as her relationship with David intensifies, friends are believed to be urging her to follow her own advice.

"There's a few friends that are a bit worried and are just hoping it's the right one," an insider revealed. "Josie in particular was surprised because Alison kept it so secret, but is now pleased that she is happy. That's all she wants for her really. She's just protective and hoping that he's the right guy because Alison hasn't had much luck in the past."
