A revamped Perth community facility was unveiled to the public this week.

Features of the Letham4All Hub on Amulree Road include new sports hall flooring, heating and lighting, as well as a ‘changing village’ and wet room to improve accessibility.

There is also a new gym on the ground floor with equipment stations and weights section and a community cafe and soft play zone with meeting rooms upstairs served by a lift.

The Hub has been funded by Perth and Kinross Council, the Scottish Government Capital Regeneration Fund, and the National Lottery.

Karina George of Letham4All said: “The new building and everything Letham4All have managed to do in the last six years is a testament to a community not giving up, becoming stronger and more confident to tackle barriers and challenges.

“It is an amazing space for not only the local community but other organisations and services to operate from.

“But it’s not just about the bricks and mortar, we are creating a catalyst for positive changes in people’s lives in the heart of our community, delivered by the community.

“But it’s not just about the bricks and mortar, we are creating a catalyst for positive changes in people’s lives in the heart of our community, delivered by the community.

“There are so many opportunities for people to get involved in the building and doing that could help someone gain valuable employability skills, get back into a work routine, or gain a qualification.

“There are so many opportunities for people to get involved in the building and doing that could help someone gain valuable employability skills, get back into a work routine, or gain a qualification.

“At the same time, we have built some much-needed infrastructure, so life across our communities is better and healthier, where everyone can reach their potential.”
