The TikToker's sister Lila announced her death on April 21 in a post on social media
Loved ones and famous fans alike are paying tribute to Eva Evans after the TikTok star's death.
Eva's sister Lila announced the Club Rat creator's death at the age of 29 in a post on social media on April 21.
"Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died," she wrote. "After 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be."
Julia Fox, who said she always saw Evans "as a sister," reacted to the news in multiple emotional posts on social media.
Near tears, Fox, 34, spoke about Eva in a reaction video to a post the TikToker made about JoJo Siwa before her death. "This video has nothing to do with JoJo and everything to do with Eva," the Uncut Gems star said. "She was a TikTok star and a New York icon."

"I always saw her as like a little sister and I know she looked up to me," the actress continued. "That's...the kind of person she was, sticking up for JoJo, always sticking up for me and she passed away."
"She was so young, still had so much to do in life. And she lived life to the fullest and I don't know what's happening 'cause we just lost Kyle last week," Fox continued, referring to the death of another TikTok star, Kyle Melissa Roth, which was announced on April 15.
Fox confessed through tears, "I live so much on this app I feel like you guys are my family and I just don't know what's happening."
On Instagram, Fox also reacted to Eva's death by sharing Lila's announcement post in her Instagram Stories April 21. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. RIP @ITSEVAEVANS I'M GOING GO MISS YOU SO MUCH. THANK YOU FOR SHARING SO MUCH OF YOUR LIGHT WITH US," she wrote in the slide.
"Rest in peace, angel Eva ❤️ you were always kind to me when others couldn’t be bothered. Will never forget that kindness,” The Hills alum Lo Bosworth commented under Eva’s last Instagram post.
In a nod to New York City, the post revolved around the social media user realizing there was no emoji for the New York Yankees. "I’ve heard people try to claim that NYC isn’t the center of the universe before, but I just wasn’t expecting this," she wrote. "Do better."
Best-selling author Cat Marnell also responded to the news, posting a dove emoji in the comments of Eva's post.

In a separate tribute, photographer Ashley Armitage wrote that “the world is less bright and way less funny without her.”
“Eva was smart, hilarious, creative, caring, magnetic, confident. She moved through the world loving and laughing at everything,” Armitage wrote, noting that the social media star had a way of making “people who just met her feel like they’d been friends for years.”
Eva's sister shared that a celebration of life will be held in Manhattan on Tuesday, April 23.
She added, "You’ll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be be without her."
