Julia Goulding is pregnant.

The 37-year-old soap star - who plays Shona Platt in 'Coronation Street' - proudly showed off her growing baby bump at the British Soaps Awards at London's Hackney Empire theatre on Saturday (11.06.22).

Julia and her husband Ben Silver welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Franklin, into the world in 2019.

And the actress was seen cradling her baby bump on the red carpet before the awards bash.

Julia donned a floor-length, figure-hugging black velvet gown for the occasion, and the actress - who married Ben in 2019 - also appeared to be in good spirits ahead of the ceremony.

Julia actually announced news of her first pregnancy via social media.

The soap star took to Instagram in May 2019 to confirm that she and Ben were expecting their first child together.

Julia wrote on the photo-sharing platform at the time: "Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year!

"We are absolutely overjoyed and can’t wait to meet our little one!"

Julia and Ben actually tied the knot at Manchester’s Albert Hall.

And the actress - who has played Shona in 'Coronation Street' since 2016 - thinks that saying her nuptials on stage was perfectly fitting for her.

Speaking about her wedding day, Julia previously said: "I love being on stage and I always wanted to get married on one!"
