The actress announced her exciting news on Instagram, sharing this gorgeous photo with the caption: “Best Christmas Ever!”

How beautiful is that ring, eh?

The news has since been confirmed to PEOPLE, who report that the couple got engaged at a private residence in Isla Grande, Colombia on Christmas Eve.

The two, who have yet to set a date for their wedding, met on the set of ‘Go With Me’, and have kept their relationship pretty private.

Julia confirmed that they were dating in July, when The Guardian asked her what the best kiss of her life has been.

She replied: “It might have happened this morning. I am dating a camera assistant I met at work called Preston.”

Preston recently worked with Leonardo DiCaprio on ‘The Revenant’, while Julia is currently filming for the fifth Bourne movie, in which she will reprise her role as Nicky Parsons.
