Rebecca Adlington has revealed that she's expecting her first child with partner Andrew Parsons.

"Summer can't wait, she asks everyday to check my belly to see if it's growing," she added. "Going to be a long wait until the end of feb!"

The star is already mum to five-year-old daughter Summer, who she welcomed in 2015 with her then-husband Harry Needs. The couple later separated in 2016, and Rebecca and Andy have been dating since early 2018.

Olympic swimming champion Rebecca has two gold medals to her name, and she's also known to TV audiences for her stints on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and The Jump, which saw her leave the show early after suffering an injury.

Elsewhere, the 31-year-old previously reflected on how online body-shaming has affected her over the years, explaining that while she's confident in herself online trolls have tarnished big moments in her career with their comments.

"It's got nothing to do with my career, and yet people think they can judge me on that," she explained.

"When I was younger, it definitely upset me. This is where it's really difficult. I am confident in myself. I know who I am. I'm very comfortable swimming.

"When I got my OBE, I wore a green dress that so many people commented on afterwards, going, 'Why did you wear that? You're fat. You can't wear that'. It ruined that experience for me," she added.
