Jurgen Klopp is set to return to Anfield sooner than expected.

As the Reds boss stepped down as Liverpool FC manager over the weekend, his era concluded on a high as the German's squad comfortably beat Wolves 2-0 on the final day of the season.

It seemed likely that following this he and his wife, Ulla Sandrock, would soon leave the region - having lived in Steven Gerrard’s former house in Formby since 2015.

However, it has now been reported, Klopp will be back at Anfield in less than a month's time.

The New York Times reported the 56-year-old dad-of-one would be attending the Taylor Swift Era's tour when it comes to Liverpool between Thursday, June 13 and Saturday, June 15. Klopp is supposedly a fan of Taylor's hit Shake It Off.

The news comes just days after a celebration was held at the Titanic Hotel in honour of the German's remarkable reign at the club that saw the team lift eight major trophies.

Pictures obtained by the ECHO showed the manager arriving at his leaving do while enjoying a gin.

In other snaps, Klopp is joined by UFC fighter, Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett, as the 29-year-old from Huyton was in attendance to say his thanks to the outgoing boss.

Stars from the Liverpool FC side were also pictured walking behind their manager as they celebrated the end of Klopp's incredible tenure.

Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez were among some of the players who could be seen in the photographs.

Mohamed Salah also posted a photo of himself and Harvey Elliott together with his 63.4m Instagram followers.
