Justin Chambers Says He's 'Very Grateful' for His Four Daughters as the Oldest Turns 30: 'So Proud' (Exclusive)

The actor shares his daughters Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, and Eva, as well as son Jackson, with wife Keisha

Justin Chambers' oldest daughter is celebrating a major milestone this year.

The Grey's Anatomy alum, 53, attended the 25th Annual Women's Image Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday and chatted with PEOPLE about how the women in his life inspire him every day. Chambers shares his four daughters, Isabella, 29, Maya and Kaila, 26, and Eva, 24, as well as son Jackson, 22, with wife Keisha.

"I've got four daughters," the star shares. "They're great. They're very independent, levelheaded, kind. I'm very blessed, very grateful."

"One's going to hit 30 soon. That's a big milestone," Chambers tells PEOPLE. "I'm proud of her. She's very socially conscious and she's just a very loving girl who is very involved with world issues and just kind."

The proud dad says that besides being outnumbered by women in his family, he also often feels out of depth.

"They're a little better read than I am," he admits. "They're little college graduates. And they're more academic. And sometimes I'm like, 'Wow.' I'm really impressed with how intelligent and interested they are in things. But most importantly, I'm just happy that they're kind."

The actor left Grey's Anatomy after 15 years in 2020 and addressed his difficult decision to leave the beloved Shondaland show, revealing what he wanted to pursue next.

“I’m very excited [for this new chapter],” the actor told Page Six while leaving Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles at the time. “Of course [it was a hard decision]. Anywhere that you spend 15 years, it’s a big chunk of your life.”

When asked what he’s looking forward to, Chambers responded, “Life, family, love, and friendships.”
