Kaley Cuoco Announces 'Patient and Loving' Dog Blue's Death Over 1 Month After Saying Goodbye to Her Last Pet

“We have had to put down three dogs in the last year," Cuoco wrote

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey have said goodbye to another one of their family pets a little more than a month after announcing the death of their dog Kingy in February.

Both she and her partner, 41, shared heartfelt tributes to their dog Blue on social media on Wednesday.

“💙BLUE💙 I have cried harder over the loss of this gorgeous creature than I have in a long time,” the Based on a True Story actress, 38, began in an Instagram post, sharing several photos of the canine.

“We have had to put down three dogs in the last year and this one has made me reflect,” Cuoco continued.

She added that she was crying for Pelphrey because “the relationship he had with Blue was so special,” adding, “they were quite the duo.”

In her lengthy post, the Big Bang Theory alum recalled how they traveled across the country with Blue before they “settled as a family” in California. She also admitted that when she first got Blue, their first year with him “was rough to say the least.”

“He didn’t love me the way he loved Tom. I had never experienced this before,” the Flight Attendant talent wrote.

“Tom was his, and he didn’t want to share,” she added of their special bond.

Cuoco explained that as time passed, Blue eventually came around and realized they were a family unit, explaining that he was “protective of me and the rest of our pup crew, always on guard.”

“I felt so safe home alone with him and when anyone came to the door I would put Blue on the leash and have him sit right next to me. No one dared mess with us!” Cuoco quipped.

She concluded her message by saying she could not wait for Blue to meet Norman, Sasha, Kingy, and Dumps again. “Oh the adventures you will have!💙💙💙💙💙," she wrote.

Pelphrey shared his sentiments as well.

“I had to say goodbye to my guy,” the Love & Death actor began his post.

He shared with his followers that Blue came into his life on Christmas Eve 2018 after being “at a rescue for over a year.” The canine had been in and out of foster homes after being deemed “too aggressive.”

“I wasn’t sure if I would be able to have people to my apartment ever again- I didn’t care,” Pelphrey said of his decision to keep Blue.

The Ozark alum said he wondered if, with all of the traveling the two did together, Blue ever knew they had an actual home.

“We were constantly on to a new job and a new city. The only constant was that we were always together. ALWAYS. He was my home. And I was his.”

Pelphrey thought back on how after meeting Cuoco, their family grew with more small dogs — and Blue “was patient and loving with all of them” and “played ball with our baby girl Matilda.”

“I’m heartbroken. I’m full of gratitude to God for every second with one of His angels. 💙🙏💙🙏💙🙏💙,” he concluded his sweet tribute to Blue.
