Kanye West a suspect in LA battery case after man allegedly grabbed wife Bianca Censori: report
Kanye West has been identified as a suspect in a battery case in Los Angeles after allegedly punching a man who grabbed his wife, Bianca Censori, according to a report.
The incident unfolded Tuesday in Los Angeles and West and Censori bailed after the alleged physical altercation, police sources told TMZ.
Police are investigating the claims and told the outlet they plan to contact West and his wife.
One of the rapper’s reps said that the man West allegedly punched had “physically assaulted” Censori.
“The assailant didn’t merely collide into her,” the rep told TMZ. “He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses.”
“She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
The alleged incident happened at the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Boulevard, according to Fox 11.
This isn’t the first time “The Life of Pablo” artist has found himself facing battery charges.
In January 2022, “The Life of Pablo” artist was sued for assault, battery, and negligence after he allegedly punched autograph seeker Justin Poplawski.
Poplawski claimed he was waiting outside a hotel to get West’s signature when the “Graduation” rapper told him to “Go the f—k [out of] here before I beat you the f—k up,” according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
West, 46, allegedly told the autograph seeker he was “going to make a f—ing example of you” while referencing his divorce from Kim Kardashian before hitting him.
Poplawski, who said he had previously gotten West’s signature without issues, alleged that the fashion designer then struck him and asked, “So do you want to get attacked for real?”
The rapper then allegedly struck him several times more, “severely injuring him,” after the autograph dealer requested an apology for the first blow.
The 2022 incident was initially investigated, but the rapper was not charged after the LA City Attorney’s Office decided there was “no reasonable likelihood of conviction.”
West and Censori were seen enjoying a date at Disneyland in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon just hours before the alleged battery occurred.
Censori was seen walking around the amusement park nearly barefoot, opting to wear bandages rather than shoes.
The 29-year-old Australian model completed her outfit with a beige bodysuit and a tan piece of cloth that lay on top of it.
