Kate Garraway has said her husband is “still with us” as he continues to battle the coronavirus.

Derek Draper was taken to hospital a month ago suffering from the virus and Good Morning Britain star Garraway recently said the last few weeks have been the hardest of her life.

She shared another update with fans on Thursday as she joined in the Clap For Carers event, saying it was a “ghastly time” but that there was plenty to be thankful for.

She wrote on Instagram: “So much to be grateful for tonight.
