Kate Hudson Shares Photos Playing Guitar with Daughter Rani, 5, and Other Sweet Moments: ‘Spring So Far’
The actress also shared snaps of the two in matching face paint on two separate occasions and of herself playing golf
Kate Hudson is enjoying Spring with her daughter Rani Rose.
The Glass Onion star, 44, shared a glimpse at how the season has been going for her so far by sharing a collage of cheerful photos on Instagram, including plenty of herself and her 5-year-old daughter, whom she shares with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, 37.
“Spring so far with my 🐣💛☀️⛳️🌸,” she wrote in the post's caption, alongside the hashtag “happy Saturday.”
Hudson kicked off her Instagram carousel with a shot of herself playing guitar as she sat with her legs crossed. Little Rani kneeled next to her and peered toward the camera, her bright blue nail paint just visible in the shot.
A later photo showed the actress and her daughter sporting paint on their faces and making fun, scrunched-up expressions for the camera.
That wasn't the only pic in the carousel that showed the mother-daughter duo experimenting with face paint, as another sweet snap saw Hudson hugging her daughter in her lap as the pair sported special designs on their faces. While Rani had a rainbow drawn on her head, Hudson had opted for butterfly wings drawn over her left eye.

The final shot in the sweet Spring round-up was similar to the earlier snap of the actress holding her guitar next to Rani, though both mom and daughter appeared further away from the camera.
The actress also sprinkled in a few photos of her spending some time on hobbies, including a pic of her playing golf on a grassy course, while another fun snap showed her posing next to a cactus in a sun hat.
Hudson — who is also mom to Ryder Russell, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson and Bingham "Bing" Hawn, 12, whom she shares with ex Matt Bellamy — previously opened up to PEOPLE in January about how she encourages her children to live a healthy lifestyle.
She told PEOPLE that things like fitness are "not taught, it's caught," and shared that her daughter Rani often attends her workout sessions with trainer Brian Nguyen. However, she also noted that when it comes to exercise, she doesn’t “force it on my kids.”

“They want to be a part of it,” she added. “They see me and my trainer working hard and cussing each other out and sweating. It's fun."

While Hudson admitted that things can get very busy in the household, she makes sure that she’s in the kitchen by 5 p.m. to make her children a meal — and they often help out as well.
"I get them chopping with me, we talk about what herbs are,” she said. “I think it's important to really get your kids involved in the things that you're doing."
