Kate Moss and Sienna Miller live it up in New York as gala season revs up
London’s darlings reunited across the pond as they partied the night away on Thursday.
Kate Moss joined friends Sienna Miller, Charlotte Tilbury and Rita Ora as they made their way into The 2023 Prince’s Trust Gala at Cipriani South Street, an events space on the outskirts of New York’s financial district.
In a see-through, crystal embellished Fendi couture look complete with pink organdie cape, it was Miller that stole the show. By her side, Moss looked effortless in a black silk satin, cowl neck, backless frock paired with strappy black stilettos.
The gala, which was thrown in aid of King Charles’ charity, raised $1.7 million on the night. Will Straw, CEO of The Prince’s Trust International, said to The Associated Press on the evening that the money will go to supporting the next generation: “This year, we’ll support around 100,000 young people directly around the world, helping them gain the skills for meaningful work,” Straw said. “And this is so important because young people have been hit so hard economically by the pandemic."
While there were no British royal appearances, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark joined her parents the Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece at the sparkling soirée. Other revellers included supermodels Iman and and Winnie Harlow, fashion designers Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs, as well as rapper Doja Cat, who rocked a crochet Roberto Cavalli mini dress.
It comes as the countdown for 2023’s Met Gala is on, and, if the the celebrity spottings in New York so far are anything to go by, the first Monday in May is promising to be a big one.
