Yahoo News Katie Price says her 9-year-old son hasn't been to school for nearly a year
Mum-of-five Katie Price has been homeschooling one of her children for the best part of a year, she has revealed.
Homeschooling might be a distant memory from pandemic times for many parents, but Katie Price has revealed her son Jett hasn't been to school in nearly a year and is being educated at home.
Jett, 9, has apparently been learning at home for the past nine months, meaning that he will have missed most of this school year.
In a recent TikTok Q and A with fans, Price, 45, made the surprising admission that she is now in charge of her son's education.
Mum-of-five Price was asked by one fan how Jett was doing, and according to OK! she answered: "Jett is good. He hasn’t been to school for nine months, so he has homeschooling at the moment."
Although she didn't elaborate on the reasons why Jett was out of mainstream school at the moment, the fan appears to have asked the question following a cryptic Instagram post by Price in January.

She had shared a selfie with Jett and wrote in the caption: "My precious little boy Jett is dealing with so much at the moment and it’s times like this when I make him feel safe loved and protected and help him get through everything.
"I love him so much our bond is incredible."
In 2021, glamour model Price spoke to the Netmums Sweat, Snot & Tears podcast about comments from other children at school on her fame.
She said that Jett's friends had asked him why his mum was famous, but that his sister Bunny had experienced cruel remarks.
Price said: "Bunny at school, she gets comments from other kids.
"There was a time when I was wearing wigs, because I'm trying to grow my hair as I was getting bald patches from stress and stuff.
"I remember Bunny saying, 'Mum, some of the kids at school say, Why does your mum wear wigs? And she's got fake boobs'. She's only, like, seven."
Price, who shares Jett and Bunny with ex Kieran Hayler, Princess and Junior with former husband Peter Andre, and is also mum to Harvey whose father is Dwight Yorke, has experienced her own recent struggles, too.
She spoke to OK! about being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and how the condition affects her.
"I’ve tried to educate my mum, but my brain is wired differently to other people," she said.
"I hate labels, but now my mum and I have both spoken to doctors and she has realised why I’ve done things in the past, why I act the way I do, why I do things, why I am the way I am.
"It’s not because I don’t listen and take it on board, there’s just something in me. I’ve got better now, I’ve learnt with therapy to hold back, to listen, and think of what other people are saying – maybe they’re right, maybe they’re wrong, but I think of the consequences."
