Former glamour model and reality television star Katie Price has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
She allegedly crashed her bright pink Range Rover into a bush in south east London on her return home from a party.
Police said the 40-year-old remained at a South London station after being arrested at approximately 2am.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 2am, British Transport Police officers came across a car showing signs of damage stationary at the roadside in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich.
“A 40-year-old woman who was inside the car was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. She was taken to a south London police station where she remains.
“Officers from the Met investigate. Inquiries continue.”
Price was reportedly attending the 30th birthday party of her ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson in Bexleyheath hours prior to her arrest.
Boyson was photographed at the Plumstead Police Station in South East London Wednesday morning, presumedly waiting for the release of his ex-partner.
The Metropolitan Police has since confirmed that she has been released as of Wednesday afternoon.
If charged and found guilty, Price could face a sentence of up to six months in prison.
Prior to her arrest, mother-of-five Price was completing a 28-day stint at rehab facility The Priory for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment.
2018 has proved to be a turbulent year for Price. In February Price was banned from driving for six months after driving 60mph on the 50mph A24. In July she reportedly turned herself into the police after driving during her ban to take disabled son Harvey to the hospital.
And back in May Price announced she had split from her husband of five years, Kieran Hayler.
She is also just weeks away from her October 30 Individual Voluntary Agreement deadline, for which she must prove a debt repayment plan before the High Court or face bankruptcy.
