Katie Price Attacks Dwight Yorke Over Son Harvey After Former Footballer Denied Entry To USA

Katie Price has taken to Twitter to accuse her former partner Dwight Yorke of failing to see his son in ten years after the footballer complained he had been denied entry to the US.

Dwight is the father of Katie’s eldest son Harvey, who is now 14.

The former glamour model and TV personality tweeted a picture of Dwight’s entry-ban story on Saturday morning and wrote: “Why don’t you get a flight to West Sussex and see your son Harvey. He has only been waiting 10 years… you know the four is always open #d**k (sic)”

Katie has been critical of the former England player in the past, saying that he’s neglected his duties as a father to Harvey, who suffers from a range of disabilities including Prader-Willis syndrome and visual impairment.

As a mother she’s becoming fiercely protective over her son – who has been the victim of online abuse in the past month. She hit out at a notorious internet troll, Mark Williams, who had sent her disgusting images of her son and plagued them both with abuse: “If he’s taking the mickey out of my son, I wonder how many other children or people he’s making fun of,” she said. “If he’s a bully he needs to be caught.”

Regarding Katie’s outburst this morning, Dwight has not yet responded.

In 2009, he told BBC Radio 5: “I would like to play an integral part in his upbringing, of course, I love my kid but wasn’t given the opportunity to really bring him up in the manner I would like to bring him up in.”

He also told Sky News that same year: “All I want to do is play an integral part in having an input in my son’s upbringing but unfortunately that’s been taken away from me in many ways.”

Speaking to The Sun regarding his ban on entering the US, Dwight said “I couldn’t quite believe what was happening. I have lost count of the number of times I have been to America, I love the country, yet I was being made to feel like a criminal.

"I had bought my ticket and checked in and was about to get on the flight when I was stopped by two officials. I thought ‘what is happening here?’.

"They told me there was a visa problem and a red flag had come up against my name because of an Iranian stamp in my passport. I went there to play in a legends match to open a stadium and didn’t even stay overnight.

"The two officials told me if I got on the flight I would simply be deported back to Qatar once I arrived in the States. I tried to explain I didn’t even live in Qatar and was just trying to get to my home in the Caribbean.”
