Katie Price calls Dane Bowers the 'love of her life' during raucous Christmas appearance

Katie Price really is putting poor old Kieran Hayler through the mill, isn’t she?

Just a few weeks after it emerged that the former builder has to rely on hand-outs from his other half and can’t even afford to go for a pint without saving up first, the Loose Women presenter has now gone and declared that her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers is the “love of her life”.

Ouch!

38-year-old Katie made the rambling announcement during a raucous appearance at the EnergySave Christmas party where she appeared alongside the former Another Level singer.

“My ex-boyfriend actually got me the job tonight, Dane Bowers, the ‘love of my life’,” she told the crowd at the boozy do, before adding: “Oh yeah he gave me a toe job.”

“Katie was meant to be with hubby but arrived on her own,” a reveller told The Sun. “Everyone was surprised there was no Kieran with her.”

They also added that the pair arrived together in a Rolls Royce and were “very touchy-feely”.

Of course, Katie and Dane famously appeared in a sex tape together which ended up all over the internet. 37-year-old Dane once said that the incident would “haunt him forever” – but it doesn’t seem to have put him off turning up to parties with his ex.

This isn’t the first time Katie’s gone all gooey while reminiscing about her past with Mr Bowers, either. Last year she told fellow housemates on Celebrity Big Brother: “I was so heartbroken and I used to say he was the love of my life.

“It’s about realising that he wasn’t the love of my life, as I regard Kieran as that now.”

However, Dane has previously hinted that he’s a bit cheesed off with Katie’s habit of raking up the past, and doesn’t understand why she’s still talking about it 14 years on.

Perhaps he found out last night?
