Katie Price dressed up as a saucy nun to announce that she will be joining OnlyFans.

The mother-of-five, who became a hit in the early 2000’s as a glamour modek, announced the move on Wednesday at a press conference in London.

The 43-year-old, who could be set to make millions on OnlyFans, said she was starting a channel on the subscription service in a bid to “empower women”.

Price arrived at a photocall for the announcement dressed as a nun with a bright pink sash that said “My Body My Rules”.

Speaking at the conference, Price said: “So the reason I’ve come in a nun outfit is because I am pure and I am actually innocent. New year, new start.

"Doing my OnlyFans channel is something that I am born to do. It’s something I’m born to do. I’ve done glamour for years. I’m so excited I’ve got no one in my way.

"There are no lads mags anymore, I’m not doing it for nothing. I’ve always been paid to do what I do. Why would you just want to give that away? I think my body is valuable, it’s my rules.

The former model, who was joined by her fiancé Carl Woods continued: "I’m embracing myself - I’m a feminist.

"I’m looking forward to all the good things, I’ve got my babies to look forward to. This platform, it’s not just pictures, I’m just so excited."

She added: "I thought it was all nudes and porn, stuff like that. Certainly what I won’t be doing. It’s all about empowering women. It’s an insight into my life - like a reality show. I want to empower women."

The announcement also comes as the troubled star faces possible jail time after recently being arrested on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.

Police were called to her Sussex home on Friday amid reports that she had sent an abusive message to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler and his fiancee, Michelle Penticost.

In 2019, Price was banned from contacting Penticost under the terms of a five-year restraining order and was fined hundreds of pounds for hurling a foul-mouthed “tirade of abuse” at her during a row in a school playground.

Price, who avoided having to appear in court on Monday after a three-year-old fine totalling £7,358 she owed was paid, had been handed a 16-week suspended sentence in December for drink-driving.

She had previously been under the influence of alcohol while disqualified and did not have insurance. She also had a two-year driving ban following a crash near her home.

In joining OnlyFans, the former model, who has had several run-ins with the law over the years, will be following in the footsteps of pal Kerry Katona who has reportedly made millions from stripping off on the adult only website.

Her ex-husband Hayler, actress Sarah Jayne Dunn and model Lottie Moss also rake in the cash as prominent members of the site. .

Price has been married on three previous occasions to singer Peter Andre, cage fighter Alex Reid and Hayler.

She has two children with Hayler, two with Andre and a son from a relationship with Dwight Yorke.

Price will turn home improvement guru in new reality show Katie Price's Mucky Mansion, which sees her try to rescue her sprawling home from its state of disrepair on Channel 4 Wednesday night at 9pm.
