Katie Price: Man arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive behaviour
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and controlling behaviour following an alleged attack on Katie Price at her home.
The 43-year-old reality star has said she suffered a bruise to her face after allegedly being punched at her home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Essex Police told Yahoo UK: "A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour has been released on bail until 20 September."
Price told The Sun: "I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital. I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened.

“I ran away after being punched – I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.
“I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened."
Photographs of the model published by the newspaper show a bruise to her right cheek and an injury to her lip.

Her disabled son Harvey, 19, recently moved out of the family home to a residential college.
Price – who is also mother to 16-year-old Junior and 14-year-old Princess with ex-husband Peter Andre – appeared in an episode of Celebrity MasterChef on BBC One that aired on Monday evening.
The mother-of-five said she had been like "the school dinner lady" while cooking for her children during lockdown.
She said: "Because it's COVID I have spent more time in the kitchen, but the trouble with this show is you're not allowed to use tinned stuff.
"You have to make it from scratch. I'm like a school dinner lady. Big pots, five kids, and I just chuck it all in."

But Price went on to surprise even herself by cooking and shelling a whole crab to serve with noodles and was put through to the next round in the cooking competition.
She said: "I'm really happy that I'm still in, really happy. I'm excited and nervous. Never underestimate the Pricey."
