Katie Price slams 'trash' who attended huge TV awards after being snubbed for invite

Katie Price has slammed the "trash" attendees of a grand awards this year, an event to which she was not invited.

The former model, 46, has attended the BAFTAs in the past as well as the Oscars "three times". And she drew parallels between the British awards and the "outrageous" Eurovision Song Contest.

Speaking to Woman's Own, she said: "The biggest regret of my life has been (auditioning for) Eurovision (in 2005). I watched this year's contest, and it wasn't about the singing, but rather how outrageous the acts were - a bit like the BAFTAs."

Having experienced the limelight at the Oscars, besides numerous BAFTA appearances, she felt short-changed by her omission from the awards' invitations.

She continued: "I've been to the Oscars three times, and I've also been to the BAFTAs before. I didn't get an invite this year, but the list of people who went... really?"

"There was some trash who went, and if I wore some of the outfits, I would have been completely caned (for it)."

Price is mum to Harvey, 22, co-parents Junior, 19, and Princess, 16, with ex-spouse Peter Andre and also Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with her third husband, Kieran Hayler.

She said that given a chance, the ex she'd like to share a meal with would be Dwight Yorke, Harvey's father, who, according to her, missed out.

She said: "I think it would be Dwight (Yorke) because I would love to sit next to him and tell him how beautiful his son is and how much he's missed out."

"Harvey has always been a chunky little bear, and I love him. The door is always open for Dwight (to have a relationship with his son)."

She spoke of her multiple cosmetic surgeries, stating she "wasn't" prettier before undergoing the procedures and expressing her appreciation for the "look" of Bratz dolls.

Currently dating Married At First Sight's JJ Slater, 31, the former model was queried about her hypothetical day as Prime Minister.

She responded: "I would ensure nurses, doctors and carers get paid a lot of money because they've helped my mum, Harvey and me, and they're just amazing people.

"I hate the fact that footballers are paid all that money to kick a ball around."
