Katie Price has revealed she was once so depressed that all she wanted to do was curl up and sleep.

The reality TV star opened up about her mental health issues on her Mucky Mansion programme, which shows her and her family renovating her country pile after it fell into disrepair.

The mum-of-five said that at one point she was so low she didn’t have the energy to do anything with her beloved horses.

“I know that I am better because I am back wanting to do the horses again, getting back into it,” she said.

“It’s sad because there was a time when I had all these horses and I wasn’t doing anything, mentally I just didn’t have the energy or want to.”

Price, 43, went on: “When you are in a depression, you can’t be bothered to do anything.

"I couldn’t be bothered to walk to the stable to even pat the horses.

“I would look out of my kitchen window and think, 'Should I just go down?'

"And I would think, 'No I can’t be bothered' and just curl up on the sofa and just want to sleep.
