Katie Price vows to ditch surgery addiction and replace it with 'new addiction'
Katie Price, the well-renowned former glamour model, has revealed her newfound love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle which she hopes will transform her long-standing addiction to cosmetic surgery.
The mother of five, at the age of 42, is notorious for her myriad of cosmetic surgeries extending from Botox and fillers to 17 breast augmentations. However, her current goal is fitness and wholesome living; Katie is hopeful that dedicating herself towards healthy eating and exercise will replace her surgery dependency.
On The Katie Price Show, her recent podcast episode, she disclosed this lifestyle transformation plan to her sister Sophie and how she wishes to implement it before the onset of the summer; she even plans on abstaining from alcohol. "I've started the gym, and when I start the gym, I get addicted. So I know that if I eat rubbish food, or alcohol, or anything like that - it's bad. I'm on a mission to get fit, healthy, and obsessed and addicted to fitness now."

Katie Price revealed her new addiction is to be health and fitness, not surgery. "I want to be addicted to fitness rather than surgery," she declared, adding that being a Gemini, she unfortunately has an addictive personality. Her sister Sophie jestingly remarked: "Oh thank God for that.", reports the Mirror.
She sounded committed and resolute as she talked about how the gym was going to become her new fixation. She insisted on her ability to maintain her vibrant personality without needing alcohol.
The revelation follows Katie's recent promise to "tell the truth" in another upcoming autobiography. The formerly bankrupt star also recently hinted at potential marriage plans after enjoying a romantic getaway with her boyfriend JJ Slater.
During their charming escape to West Sussex, the former glamour model shared an attention-grabbing photo on Instagram depicting a neon sign asking the big question - "Will you marry me? " She simply referred to the location as an absolute favourite.
Knocking down all speculation, she then announced another autobiography in the pipeline. It will amount to her seventh tell-all book since rocketing to fame in the 90s.
Opening up about her decision in a video, she revealed plans to truly lay bare her life experiences in this forthcoming book with the former glamour model stating: "This book just tops all the others. For so many years, I hide behind the mask because that's my way to deal with things. It gets to a point where it becomes noise, I had my breakdown, the worst thing ever.
"Now I've come [out] on top I've learnt to not be afraid. I think in this book people will get to see really what it's like to be me. There will be uplifting moments, there'll be dark moments, moments where I can put the truth right in a lot of things," she continued to share with her online followers.
In the caption of her post, Katie enthusiastically revealed: "I'm so happy to share that this July I'm releasing my brand new autobiography, THIS IS ME. This is by far the most intimate look into my life to date, celebrating 30 years in the spotlight."
She concluded with: "THIS IS ME, coming 18th July x."
Notably, Katie is not new to the publishing world; she has authored children's and fashion books, as well as eleven novels.
