Katie Price's ex-partner has warned that he will "expose her lies" if he is dragged through the mud in her upcoming book.

The former glamour model, 46, ended her relationship with Carl Woods towards the end of last year. Despite an initial spark, their relationship quickly deteriorated in 2023 on seemingly bitter terms.

Carl has since moved on with another woman following their split, while Katie has found new love with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater.

However, it hasn't been smooth sailing for the model and entrepreneur, who was declared bankrupt for the second time after failing to settle a £760k tax bill, the Daily Star reports.

In a bid to boost her income, Katie is preparing to launch a new book about her life. Titled This Is Me: The High Life, The Dark Times, the autobiography promises to reveal more about Katie's private life and family.

Promoted as "the true story behind the headlines", the book will cover various aspects of Katie's life that have impacted her over the years, including her numerous failed relationships, her children, her upbringing, and her mental health struggles.

In her previous books, Katie has been candid about her feelings towards her ex-partners, with Kieran Hayler and Peter Andre bearing the brunt of her criticism. Now, Carl is bracing himself for a similar treatment but has cautioned that he will reveal her shortcomings if he is unfairly targeted.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the car salesman revealed: "If Katie drags Carl's name through the mud he's ready to do what he needs to, to set the record straight. He won't stand for Katie putting out a warped view of their time together and is vowing to undo any claims and expose secrets from their relationship if that should happen."

The insider added: "Katie shouldn't underestimate him. Carl insists he has all the evidence he needs to rubbish any negative claims.

"He's remained quiet since their split and is happy to leave Katie alone, but he is determined not to become the latest ex to be pulled apart in a book. After all, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

Katie and Carl first became an item during lockdown and were engaged within ten months. They appeared smitten, enjoying holidays together and openly discussing marriage and children.

However their relationship soon began to show signs of strain. Following a series of heated arguments and incidents, both decided to end their relationship in November 2023.
