Katie Price's son Harvey rushed to hospital

Katie Price's son Harvey Price has been rushed to hospital.

The reality star revealed her 21-year-old son's health emergency by posting a close-up photo of blood-spattered bricks on her Instagram Stories on Monday.

Alongside the worrying photo, she simply wrote, "Hospital dash for Harvey." She has yet to divulge more details.

Harvey, Katie's eldest child, lives with autism, the rare genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, a disorder in early brain development.

He recently went to hospital to be treated for ear problems.

"They've syringed his ear out at the hospital again yesterday. He's calling me going 'mum' and all that," she said during a recent episode of The Katie Price Show podcast.

"Last night when he went to bed they put a bandage around his head to stop him doing that with his ear. So he's phoning me feeling sorry for himself. I'm going to go see him on Wednesday."

Harvey, whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, made an appearance on his mum's podcast last week.

During the episode, the 45-year-old revealed that she's trying to find him a new residential college.

"We're looking for a new college, aren't we?" she began. "I'm having a nightmare at the minute... We were looking for him to stay at his college another year or if not a placement, but (the local authority) haven't accepted it.

"They've given me three months' notice that he has to find somewhere else by July. And someone like Harvey you need the transitional move. You need to do it slow."
