Keaton's family share heartfelt video one week on from tragic death of 12-year-old

The heartbroken family of Keaton Slater have released a touching video of the youngster. Today marks a week since the tragic incident that claimed his life and the hunt for wanted man Dolars Aleksanders continues.

Yesterday a £10,000 reward was offered for information to help find Aleksanders, who is wanted in connection with Keaton’s death.

The video shows Keaton, who was aged just 12 when he died, unwrapping a gift. His face is thrilled as he takes off the wrapping paper to reveal an iPhone.

A memorial will be held tonight and hundreds of people are expected to attend. Sky blue coloured balloons will be released into the sky along with sky blue flares in memory of the young Coventry City FC fan. There will also be a minute’s round of applause.

A livestream of the memorial will be on the RIP Keaton Slater page on Facebook.

Earlier this week Keaton’s family paid a tearful tribute to their son as they appealed for Aleksanders to ‘do the right thing’ and hand himself in. The manhunt has gone international with police in Aleksanders’ native Latvia hunting for him.
