Keke Palmer’s 16-Month-Old Son Leo Adorably Cheered Her on as She Prepped for Her BET Awards Performance

Keke Palmer had an adorable assistant helping her prep for her 2024 BET Awards performance.

In a joint Instagram post from the Emmy award winner, 30, and her 16-month-old son Leodis "Leo" Andrellton, the hardworking mom showed off her little one as he cheered her on "from rehearsals to the stage."

Leo could be seen dancing along with his mom in rehearsals for her Usher tribute performance, watching from the side as Palmer danced in a studio and toddling around the BET Awards stage.

"From rehearsals to the stage I made sure my mommy was ready for her performance!" Palmer wrote in the caption from Leo's point of view. "Thanks for listening to my critiques. You did almost as good as I would have 🫶🏾"

In May, Palmer spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about Leo's first birthday, revealing that she introduced him to the world of Trolls in celebration of the milestone.

“I took him to Camp Store where they do a lot of these little different experiential things for kids. They were doing one with Trolls so I got them all dressed up as a troll baby,” the actress and singer told PEOPLE in May.

“He was Branch, he had the blue hair. We went down the slides. I got stuck on a few, but it was fabulous and so much fun. We had a little concert in the end," she said, adding “I thought it was really good."

The Nope star also took a moment to show Leo off on her Instagram on Mother's Day, where she shared several sweet photos and videos of never-before-seen moments between the mother-son duo.

Palmer started off the Instagram post with an adorable shot of the two having fun as he held a popsicle and a picture of him playing with a toy truck while she slept next to him. Another photo showed the two lying down in a play pen, seemingly exhausted after some playtime.

“Happy Mother’s Day to every and all mommies!” she captioned her post.

“I love being a mom more than I thought I would, and that was a lot already! I want a whole soccer team 🤣,” she said jokingly. “Children are the light of the world and my son is the centerpiece of mine. I’ll do anything for Master Leodis 😩😍🙏🏾🙌🏾💖🫶🏾.”
