Kelly Ripa can't pee in public because she's heard too many people say 'that's Kelly Ripa' in the stall

"At that point I'm just so panic-stricken because I have to pee and it's not coming out," Ripa said.

Kelly Ripa is letting loose on, uh, an inability to let loose in public restrooms.

The Live cohost revealed on Thursday's pre-taped opening host chat with husband Mark Consuelos that she can't pee in public after being recognized when she tried to enter a bathroom stall.

"When [I] go into the restroom, and I will hear, 'That's Kelly Ripa!' Now, I can't go. Even though I have to go desperately," she said, later adding that she has "tremendous performance anxiety" about public restrooms.

Consuelos then asked, "Do you continue to listen to see what they're saying?" to which Ripa responded: "At that point I'm just so panic-stricken because I have to pee and it's not coming out, and I'm in there longer, and now they're in there also longer, and we're all in there longer."

Ripa said she then feels "like saying, 'Guys, can you run the water or something?'"
