Kelsey Parker has said she still communicates with her late husband Tom Parker and that he sends her signs.

The Wanted singer died in March last year at the age of 33, after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Opening up to The Sun as she marked the anniversary of his death, Kelsey told how their two young children Aurelia and Bodhi have a teddy bear that sings one of Tom’s songs and that it sometimes starts playing by itself.

“I speak to him a lot and I ask him questions and he will send signs back to me,” she said.

Last year Kelsey trekked across the Sahara Desert to raise money for a breast cancer charity.

And she said she believes Tom even sent her a sign there.

“I got to the top of this dune and there was a butterfly,” she said.

“I say to the children, ‘Daddy is with the butterflies. A butterfly . . . in the Sahara desert.”

Kelsey also marked the anniversary with a post on Instagram, sharing a photo of her and the singer together.

“One year without you,” she wrote.

Adding a single red heart emoji, she said Tom was “forever my soul mate”.

The music star was diagnosed with “inoperable” stage four glioblastoma in 2020, while Kelsey was pregnant with their son Bodhi.

He shared his determination to beat his illness with fans and regularly posted health updates on social media.
