Kendall Jenner Says She's 'Had a Tough 2 Months' and 'Haven't Been Myself': 'I'm More Sad Than Usual'
"I'm not going to sit here and act like everything's perfect. That's life—I'm always going to be in and out of those feelings," the supermodel told 'Vogue' in a new interview
Kendall Jenner hasn’t had an ideal past few months.
In an interview with Vogue as the Summer 2024 issue’s cover star, the 28-year-old supermodel admitted that although she feels “really stable” and “really hopeful” in her career, she’s “had a rough two months.”
“I haven’t been myself, and my friends see it. I’m more sad than usual. I’m way more anxious than usual. So I’m not going to sit here and act like everything’s perfect. That’s life—I’m always going to be in and out of those feelings,” Jenner explained. “In past interviews, when someone’s asked me about my mental state, it’s always been, ‘I’m great right now, but this is what I’ve dealt with.’ Well, right now I’m actually in it.”

Jenner chose not to elaborate on the specific causes of her problems. “Let’s just say it’s personal-life-journey stuff,” she said vaguely.
The businesswoman speculated that the reason for her emotional downturn was turning 28, the beginning of her “Saturn return.”
“I’m so tired emotionally, but I think it’s good. It’s almost like I’m purging something for my 30s. That’s my theory,” she rationalized.
Jenner also opened up to the outlet about her lifelong anxiety, calling herself a “negative thinker” and “an emotional kid.”
“That’s my problem. I’m always worrying about something that may never happen,” the reality TV personality said. Her anxiety has been present since the age of 7, and when her mental health dips, Jenner confessed that she tends to abandon self-care practices.
“This is one of those times when I feel I’m actively not protecting myself or actively doing things that I know are hurting me,” Jenner described of her current state.
