When Kent's warm weather could break with heavy rain and possible storms
It seems as though everyone has been talking about the promising warm and sunny weekend in Kent. It's a good time to make plans or get out the barbecue, as Saturday and Sunday look dry, warm and either full sun or sunny intervals, according to the Met Office.
But all good things must come to an end, and the rain will be coming sooner than we'd like. But these clouds literally have a silver lining, as the sun will be returning to Kent before you can say 'did you buy burger buns?'
Saturday will see top temperatures late afternoon in Kent of 23C in areas such as Westerham, Tunbridge Wells and Tenterden. Cooler on the coast, with Margate reaching only 17C.
But a cloudy start is forecast for Kent, with the sun starting to show from noon across most of the county, with full sun across Kent, or sunny intervals in Rochester, Westerham, Dartford, and Dover.

Sunday, the warmer temperatures will be seen across more of Kent, from Dartford and Westerham, the hottest at 23C, to Rochester, Tunbridge Wells, and Ashford, at 22C. Again, cooler at the coast with Margate and Dover at 20C in the afternoon.
A cloudy start on Sunday too, with sunny intervals in places, including Margate, Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury. Full sun across must of Kent late afternoon, but apart from the coast in Margate and Dover, along with Canterbury, that cloud will return.
Monday is decidedly cooler, with temperatures only reaching 18C, in Rochester, Dartford and Canterbury, with the rest of the county only reaching 17C.
The day starts cloudy and it will only get worse, as rain is due from early evening and it will get heavier throughout the evening and night.
But it's not all bad news - that sun will be coming back on Tuesday, so you'll soon be basking in those summery rays again. There is a thunderstorm warning for Sunday from noon until 10pm, for London and the South East England, but it doesn't cover Kent yet.
It's currently for the west of England, including Thames Valley, Hampshire, the Midlands, Wales, the north west and parts of the south west. These areas have been warned by the Met Office that heavy showers and thunderstorms could lead to some disruption in places, especially to travel. And isolated property flooding is possible, it said.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
The Met Office's forecast is that Sunday will be very warm with sunny spells. But heavy showers or thunderstorms will be spreading north-eastwards. It will be cooler on Monday and Tuesday and there could be showers, or longer periods of rain and it will be breezy.
