Yahoo News Kerry Katona admits affair that she says 'saved my life'
The singer said it was the 'best thing' she did
Kerry Katona has revealed that she once had an affair that she said saved her life.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 42, spilled the beans on Slingo's Getting Lippy Gossip Show, saying that she'd had an affair when she was married to Mark Croft.
The pair were married from 2007 and 2011, and they share two children.

"I had actually an affair myself when I was with Mark Croft, and it was the best thing that I ever did," said the mum-of-five.
"We were both married.
"We both fell madly in love with each other — he did leave his wife for a little bit but for me that just... it saved my life."
Katona has been marred three times.
She tied the knot with Westlife singer Brian McFadden in 2002 but they split in 2006, then the following year she exchanged vows with Croft.
Their relationship came to an end four years later and the star went on to marry the late George Kay in 2014.
In 2015 he was arrested for allegedly assaulting her. The charges were later dropped due to a lack of evidence and the pair reconciled, but they split up again in 2017.

Kay died in 2019 of an overdose.
Katona is now in a relationship with Ryan Mahoney, who she met on dating app Bumble in 2018.
The pair have been engaged since 2020 but so far have yet to exchange vows.
