Kerry Katona has described ex-husband and current Dancing on Ice star Brian McFadden as a ‘d**khead’ after revealing he cheated on her with a lap dancer.

Katona, who was married to the former Westlife singer from 2002 to 2006, said it was her ‘favourite marriage’ of the three she’s had, yet still had some stern words to say about him.

“He can be a right d**khead, that ex-husband of mine,” she wrote in her New! magazine column.

She then criticised recent comments he made about marriage during an appearance on Loose Women, before detailing how their relationship was broken after he cheated with a lap dancer.

“Brian went on Loose Women and said that marriage was ‘disposable’ and ‘just a party’. He has a girlfriend and has to be respectful, but it was a weird thing to say considering he was married to me.

“My side of the story is that it was my favourite marriage and I’m not going to let him take that away from me.

“Yes it was a bloody great party, but he cheated on me with a lap dancer that broke us. We were such an iconic couple at the time.”

During his appearance on Loose Women, McFadden claimed Katona was jealous of his success on Dancing On Ice.

Katona also participated in the skating show back in 2011 and was the fifth person to be eliminated.

“I think she’s a little bit jealous cos I’m better than she was,” said McFadden, before adding that his ex-wife had told him he was “doing well on the show” and that she asked him about his injured shoulder.

The singer shrugged off a shoulder injury sustained earlier in the competition, and after earning a score of 20 out of 40 for one of his performances, he said: ““I’ll just go to the bar now, I’m happy – it’s been hard work and tough with my shoulder going out.”
