Kevin Hart & Kenan Thompson Team On ‘Olympic Highlights’ Series For Peacock

Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson are taking their comedy to Paris for the 2024 Olympics. Peacock has given an eight-episode series order to Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson, a commentary series in which the comedic duo will recap the best and most unexpected moments throughout the Games.

The series will roll out with 2-3 episodes per week beginning July 26 on Peacock, the same day as the Opening Ceremony. According to Peacock, Hart and Thompson will be one-of-a-kind guides through the Paris Olympics, covering a mix of Olympic-themed in-studio competitions, conversations, and interviews.

Hart and Thompson will serve as hosts and executive producers.

“We can’t wait to be a part of the Paris Olympics and help hype up the audience with highlights from the best moments of the Games,” said Hart. “We’re going for gold, everybody!”

Added Thompson: “Kev and I are super excited to be part of the Paris Olympics by recapping performances from some of the world’s best athletes. Let’s go Team U.S.A.!”

Hart and Thompson previously teamed on 2022 Back That Year Up for Peacock, which took an irreverent, unfiltered look at the biggest moments from 2022 in pop culture, social media, politics and sports.

Hart previously joined with Snoop Dogg on an Olympic Highlights series for Peacock for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. The Games had been scheduled for 2020, but were postponed due to the pandemic.

In addition to Hart and Thompson, the series is executive produced by Bryan Smiley, Jeff Clanagn, Luke-Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey and David Nickoll. JC Del Barco serves as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and directed by Leslie Small.
