A couple of months ago it was announced that KFC was bringing back Chicken Tuesday! This special, special day means that fans of fried chicken can get nine pieces for just £5.99 every Tuesday until 18 August!

But get this... thanks to a clever hack, which was figured out by The Mirror, you can get one of these dreamy buckets of chicken for just £3. Yes. Just three English pounds!

Here's how it works: KFC is taking part in the Eat Out To Help Out government scheme, which means that on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can dine in and get 50% off your food.

So, if you go to KFC on a Tuesday, you will get your £5.99 nine-piece bucket of chicken half price. Which is a mere £3!

That’s like, erm, well, I don’t actually know how much that means each piece of chicken costs, but it’s not very much, okay?

But move fast, as you've only got today (Tuesday 11 August) and next week (Tuesday 18 August) to use this double deal.

Not only can you get your hands on very reasonably-priced chicken right now - a McDonald's Big Mac and medium fries could be yours for just £1.

McDonald's runs a regular offer that means you can grab yourself Big Mac and fries for £1.99 in exchange for filling out a survey about your meal. If you check an old McDonald's receipt, you'll find a unique 12-digit code, which you can enter into McDonald's Food For Thought website.

Once you've completed the survey, you get given a five-digit code. Write this code on the original receipt and hand it over on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in August when you place your order for your Big Mac and medium fries, and instead of paying £1.99, you'll be charged just £1!
