The Killers to Perform 'Hot Fuss' in Full at First-Ever Hometown Las Vegas Residency: 'It's Good to Be Home'
The legendary alt-rock band will play a string of dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in summer 2024 in honor of the 20th anniversary of their debut album
After all these things that The Killers have done, they’re coming home.
The iconic alternative rock band announced they’re set to play their first-ever residency in their hometown of Las Vegas on Tuesday. They’ll be taking to the stage in Sin City — where they famously came up in the early 2000s and has remained a source of inspiration in their music ever since — in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit debut album Hot Fuss.
Not only will the upcoming shows that are scheduled for August honor the milestone anniversary, the Grammy-nominated group plans to perform the beloved record, featuring songs like “Mr. Brightside,” “Somebody Told Me” and “All These Things That I’ve Done,” from front to back for the first time.
The group featuring vocalist Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. will play a total of eight dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Aug. 14 to Aug 30.
The “Human” band announced the residency to fans on Instagram by sharing a teaser. The clip featured footage of the rockers out on the road today, as well as nostalgic shots of them at the start of their career when Hot Fuss dropped.
“It’s good to be home,” The Killers wrote in the caption. “Join the 4 of us for 8 shows at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace in August as we celebrate 20 years of Hot Fuss. Tickets go on sale starting Jan. 27.”

The hitmakers’ new wave-influenced debut album instantly launched them into success upon its release in June 2004. Not only did the album receive a Grammy nomination for best rock album, three of its singles (“All These Things That I've Done,” “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me”) received nominations, as well.
Still today, the cult-loved record is considered one of the best debuts of all time.
The Killers’ residency comes on the heels of the release of their greatest hits album, Rebel Diamonds, and will follow a handful of festival headlining dates.
