Kilmarnock have announced the signing of Rangers keeper Robby McCrorie for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old joins the club on a two-year deal and brings to an end a 12-year relationship with the Ibrox club.

The Ayrshire lad has Premiership experience following two loan stints at Livingston in 2020 and 2021 - however that move didn't quite go to plan with his first spell being halted due to the Covid pandemic and the stopper being dropped during his second spell.

Since then, he's been on the books at the Ibrox club for three seasons with limited game time, appearing in just seven games although that does include two clean sheets in victories over Celtic.

Derek McInnes made the move as last season's no.1 Will Dennis appears to be part of the plans at English Premier League club Bournemouth following a successful loan stint at Rugby Park last term.

McCrorie could make his debut in tomorrow night's friendly against Ayr United at Somerset Park and will battle it out with Kieran O'Hara for the starting role this season.
