'We're so in love!' Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome baby girl via surrogate

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s surrogate mother has given birth to a baby girl.

Kim made the announcement on Twitter, saying the surrogate gave birth Monday to a healthy girl weighing 7lbs 6oz.

She went on to post on her website:  ‘Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl.

‘We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.

‘North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.’

So are we! Hurrah.

Details of the surrogate have remained scarce but Kim, 37, previously revealed on an episode of KUWTK that it took her and Kanye a year to find the perfect candidate.

“Getting a surrogate and finding someone that you really trust really is so much more for difficult of a situation than you could really imagine.

“You have to like make sure that their lifestyle is healthy and they have to go through psychological testing, and it was maybe a year before we finalised our current situation.

“But I think everything happens for a reason, because the surrogate that I really loved got approved and she is such a nice person, like she’s so easy to talk to and she’s the perfect fit for us, but we have to decide quickly, are we really going to go through with this or are we gonna wait until we feel more prepared.”

Kim is already mother to North, four, and Saint, two.

Congrats again!
