Kim Kardashian Wonders If Her Botox Habit Is Impacting Her Acting Abilities

Kim Kardashian joked about her love of injections possibly getting in the way of her acting ambitions during the most recent episode of “The Kardashians.”

While telling her friends about her future acting plans, the reality star wondered if her taste for Botox might be limiting her, given how the popular cosmetic procedure works by paralyzing certain muscles in order to reduce lines and wrinkles.

“I also feel like you need less Botox for more emotion and I don’t have it,” she said to her pals with a laugh.

While the celebrity didn’t say if she was willing to ditch her injections for the sake of acting, she mentioned other physical transformations she wouldn’t entertain for a role.

“I’m not gonna be gaining 500 pounds for a role and then losing a million. That’s not where I need to be,” Kardashian remarked, adding, “I feel like, how am I gonna cry? How am I gonna be scared out of my mind?”

Last year, the influencer-turned-businesswoman made her first serious foray into acting on Season 12 of the hit Ryan Murphy anthology series, “American Horror Story.”

After the show’s debut, Kardashian said she was inundated with other offers to appear on screen.

Still, the star told her friends she was worried about ability to deliver a worthwhile performance.

“How do they know I can do it?” she asked herself during a confessional interview. “Now, it’s like the pressure’s on because it’s like, ’Oh shit this is happening. And I’m, like, tripping the fuck out low-key because I have to really do this and I have to deliver.”

Kardashian appears to have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate her acting chops on the horizon.

She’s set to produce and star in the upcoming comedy “The Fifth Wheel,” which Netflix snapped up the rights to last fall.

The rest of the cast has yet to be confirmed.
