Kim Petras won't be performing at festivals this summer.

On April 24, the Grammy winner posted to social media and let fans know she's pulling out of several music festivals due to "some health issues."

"My buns, I’m devastated to be writing this but I’m going through some health issues and under medical advice I have had to make the hard decision to not perform at festivals this summer," wrote Petras, 31, on Wednesday.

"I love u so much and I’ll make it up to you and be back better than ever very soon," continued her statement.

In a March cover story interview with Cosmopolitan, the "Heart to Break" musician opened up about turning to therapy following the success of her Sam Smith collaboration "Unholy," which earned a Grammy Award for best pop duo/group performance.

“Therapy was necessary for me after having a huge song, to learn how to shut everything off,” Petras told the publication. “I had a therapist in my teen years and stopped when things got busy. But I missed having someone to let everything out to. I recommend therapy to everyone; it’s an essential tool ... The music industry can get very hectic.”

At the time, she explained the chart-topping collaboration and subsequent attention she received "took over my life."

“It was insane,” Petras noted. “Suddenly I was traveling a lot, and there were more eyeballs on me than ever before. It felt like a huge breakthrough, as it shifted the music industry’s perception of me and what I could do.”

Luckily, Smith, 31, helped her deal with the newfound level of fame. "Sam’s such a wonderful person, and has been my coach in a lot of ways," said Petras.

"If I feel in a crisis, or read something about myself that I can’t deal with, I’ll text or call them. That level of media attention is really scary; it forced me to grow as a person, and it’s so inspiring to see Sam be able to brush that off," she added.

Ultimately, Petras remains pleased with the song's impact on her career — and for the Grammy win. "It was a huge honor, and I’m very grateful for that whole experience. But nothing can prepare you for that level of attention. It felt exposing and scary. Suddenly, a lot of people who wouldn’t usually listen to my music were digging up my origin story," she said.
