Kimberly Wyatt says it's 'sad' people are so hung up on Pussycat Dolls' racy outfits
Kimberly Wyatt has defended the Pussycat Dolls’ racy outfits, saying it makes her “sad” that people focus on it so much.
The US girl group reunited in 2019 almost a decade after going their separate ways.
They burst back onto the scene with a series of performances on shows including Saturday Night Takeaway and The X Factor: Celebrity, but found themselves under fire for their skimpy costumes and daring dance moves.

Hundreds of people ended up complaining to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom.
However, Wyatt has now defended the Dolls, telling The Sun: “It makes me sad people are so hung up on costumes.”
“Pussycat Dolls stand for being empowered females owning their space and being there for each other,” added the 38-year-old.

The group - comprised of Wyatt, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta – found fame in 2005 with the song Don’t Cha and went on to have success with tracks such as Buttons and When I Grow Up before parting company in 2010.
The members enjoyed solo careers after they separated but in November 2019 they announced that they were getting back together.
Scherzinger has also spoken out about the backlash since the Dolls reformed.
Speaking on Australian programme The Project, she said she had no idea the saucy black pants and bodysuits they wore on The X Factor: Celebrity would cause such a fuss.
“Those costumes, we put that together in three days and those outfits were a bit provocative,” said the singer, 42. “But we're women now.”
